I was wondering why there is such a high demand for the 79 kx 80 is it a rare. I see many wanted adds posted for this bike but not many 4-sale adds, can anyone tell me about this particular bike, Thankyou!
I'm pretty sure that it was the first year Kawasaki offered a KX80 and it was a pre uni-track model. I also think alot of guys in their mid 30s had 79 KX RM CR or YZ 80s and probaobly want a little piece of their youth back. I know I wouldnt mind finding a nice 79 RM80 to put in the garage.
i recieved a kx 80 that was air cooled(which kawasaki only made the air cooled kx 80's from like 78-82) the motor was in a latemodel kx 80 frame that was for a liquid cooled kx80.
the guy just gave it to me. the only problem was that it didn't have spark. i can't to this day find anywhere to buy ignition coils for the air cooled kx 80???
