does the LT250 have reverse? If so, then probably not.

No it doesn't have reverse no racing quads have reverse from this era.

best plan of action is to do some measuring and see if the motor mounts match up. The only thing I'd think might prevent it would be the width of the cases in the rear, the quad engine possibly being wider.

The engine I am thinking of buying is not here so I have no way of measuring. But I can call the guy who has it for sale and ask him to measure, thanks
