I need to know if the hand grips for a 1989 Honda Z50 are a special size or will standard dirt bike grips fit? Thanks.

I don't have an '89. I checked my '78 and it has 7/8" bars, but the grip is only about 4" long. I also checked my '03 and it has 3/4" bars, grip only about 4" long. Standard grips are going to be 7/8" and about 5" long. I'm thinking they are going to be special sized. Hope this helps.
