Just purchased a 1990 KDX 200 and in the process of tearing it down. While attempting to remove all the plastic, I ran into difficulty with the 8mm bolt that attaches the radiator shroud to the fuel tank. It seems that the pressed? in fitting for the bolt is turning in its seat. Any suggestions?? I'd like to go through things with a fine tooth comb. I've read the "new bike" set up page and wonder if there may be any other recommendations on specific lube points or trouble areas. BTW, the engine-top and bottom end--seem to be in excellent order. Only other problem is leaking petcock, but that should be a simple on to fix. The bike runs like stink!!! Like to see how it pulls against a newer model. Probably taking it to an enduro this weekend and see if anyone want to take a run.

I hate those tank inserts! But being such a fun bike I guess I can live with it. Pull it and epoxy it.
