I just got a 1990 kx125 and with my bad luck after less than 4 hours the piston broke and scored the cyl wall. It looks like it does not have a sleeve in it. I was told that it was never bored just slight hone to clean it. Question is can this be sleeved? Can it be bored? I heard it cant if it was no sleeved. Where can i get a after market cylinder? reasonable! any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Howie

it can be sleeved, and once it is sleeved you can bore it out numerous times. this is of coarse a quick fix.(some factory riders do this b/c it is so fast)
or you could send it to us chrome and pay about $200 to replate it. this will be very strong and out last a sleeve.
