Though I still own some of my old bikes, the 1990 kx250 I just picked up is the first off-road bike I've bought in 25 years. The intended use is Vet MX and HS. I was an "A" rider when I retired (the first time), but assume my skills have slipped to the "C" range. Any tips/hints/warnings about the bike? It's in great shape, with original plastic, FMF exhaust and some other goodies. :yeehaw:
I had intended on re-entering off-road riding on a 4 stroke, but the issues and expenses suffered by my friends with their YZF's and CRF's really turned me back toward 2 strokes. The Kx deal was too good to pass up, and (though somewhat dated) is still alot more technology than I've experienced til now.
Thanks in advance for the info. Have a safe Labor Day weekend.
