1995 ATK 260 LC info needed

Hi folks , I picked up a 1995 atk 260LC recently and am going to try to get it street legal.

The previous owner showed me wires under the tank and said they were stock ATK wires for adding lights.

Does anyone know if the bike is 12v or 6v AND what the lighting stator puts out for wattage?

According to this link, the '97 had a 160 watt lighting coil. Your '95 is probably similar if not the same. That's alot of output. If it really is 160 watts, that's plenty for a street legal headlight.

Don't think anyone has used 6v systems for a long time, so it should be a 12v.
