I am looking into picking up a good used CR 250 to get back into the swing of it.  I am actually looking specifically at a 1998 CR 250 "Elsinore Edition," and was hoping to get your guys input on the year and model. I know this was the second year for the aluminum perimeter frames. Was there any frame cracking issues going on with the CR 250's? Does anyone know the specifics about the Elsinore Edition CR 250? Is there any difference besides the graphics kit?  What things should I be looking at when I go look at the bike? Can you guys tell me how much a top end rebuild (just parts) will run me?

Overall how was the 1998 CR 250, and how much would you be willing to pay for one in good condition? (Never raced)
