1999 ktm 250 exc (good or bad)

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the 99 ktm 250 exc. Did you like it or not. I can get one for $1700 and would just like to know if this is a good deal. Thanks for any info.

kelly blue book says retail is $2950 so it is probly worth between $2000-2500
