Congrats, tx! Did you quit cold turkey, or did you try the patch, hypnosis, therapy, or a 12-step program? I quit cold turkey six years ago, and it took a year for my body to stop doing weird things. :silly: Quitting is my life's greatest accomplishment. Sad, but true.


Who's next? Okie? Jaybird? :)

JP, I used a patch for about a week, and decided it was too much of a PITA. Went cold turkey after that.

It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but I had incentive. It's also a year ago today that my older sister called to tell me the docs had found lung cancer. She's fine now, but has less lung than before. She quit too.

Anywho, my 10 yr old daughter asked me to stop because she was scared I would get sick also. Pretty hard request to say no to..........

Congrat tv. I'm about 1 month ahead of you I quit jan 20th. I used the patch about 2wks and said the heck and went cold turkey. This was about the 15th time trying to quite. Don't it feel great?
