Hi Fellas,
I am dealing with a small problem with my revived PW80. I need to know if the float bowl overflow and the float bowl drain share the same orifice? As I try to start the bike, there is fuel draining from the tube on the side of the carb. What does this indicate ---- stuck float?

Another simple one for those of us without manuals...
What is the correct sparkplug gap?

TIA

Bernie

Check the float height, it should be.82-.90 in (20.8-22.8mm)
Fill the bowl with gas and see if the float sinks.
Take a good look at the needle valve, that could also be the culprit.
Pull the drain screw out completely, if its tip is damaged, it may not be sealing properly.
I am not sure which orifice is used for the overflow and which for the drain.
Plug should be NGK BP6HS or equiv, gap @ .024-.028 in (.6-.7mm)
