20" front, 18" rear on a 250?

Can this be done without adversely affecting geometry/handling? Would suspension mods be better since going to smaller wheels would only lower the bike 1/2"? I am 5' 7" and can barely reach the ground when sitting on the seat.

running smaller wheels wont lower the bike since they use higher profile tires!

do you really need to lower the bike at 5'7", maybe you would be better off just shortening the subframe slightly to lower the seat to floor and seat to peg distance without having to spend the extra cash elsewhere?

Im only 5'5" and i have just modified the subframe to lower the back end slightly.

and i just remembered, you can shave a bit of the seat foam away also!
