dont throttle it so much...a little obvious. If its to peaky then get an after market pipe (FMF), or get it ported and polished, or a fly wheel weight. Those will both take the power and make it a little more controlable (is that even a word?) AKA broaden out the powerband.
Cause the rm is my first bike and at first it scared the hell out of me, but now after a couple weeks its just like riding a mountain bike for me (only a lot faster).
Just watch out for the powerband cause the rm has very poor low end and when you go full throttle the bike makes up for the lack of low end, just keep it slow till you get used to the bike, cause im fine with it now.
If its just to fast for you get a 4 stroke, its not like these bikes have bad resale value.
