I have a 2000 YZ 250 working on getting it jetted correctly. I am working on leaning it out a bit since it runs pretty rough at the lower end and so ordering some new pilot jets and jet needles. I could not find a kit (JD) for that year model so just ordering the parts OEM and trying to just order what I need and not to much extra. As far as needles the stock needle is N3CW. There is a discrepency in the book as to the thickness of each one. One page says a N3CJ is thinner and another says a N3CJ will lean it out aka is thicker. It also says a N3CH is thicker on one page and will richen the bike out aka is thinner. So does anyone know what the order of thicknesses are is it h->w->j or vise versa. or something completly different? Thanks for the help. I want to get this bike dialed in this week and go to the track!
