Im new to this forum so hello all. I just picked up a 2001 Rm 250 (My other bike is an 03 CRF 450) I wanted to know if there was anything special I need to know about the RM...any tips or tricks? It's basically stock except for the Bill's pipe. Thanks alot

WELCOME i to own a 01 rm250 set up for woods riding about all i can tell you is to keep the rear suspension lubed with a good water proof grease belray , torco,pj 1 , those little needle bearings like to rust other than that you got youreself a really good bike . :cool:

Don't forget to grease the head bearings also. My 01' leftover that I got this spring was already seizing up due to lack of grease. The handlbars would just stick in a position and I had to physically move them from the sticky spot. Somehwere in here is some information on cutting the slide that helps the RM. I did it and it cleaned up my midrange alot. It's a great bike but I wish it had more low end.
