Just curious if a 2002 CR-125 shock will fit a 2001 CR-125?
According to Service honda all the numbers are the same but the last 3.
Was not sure being the 01 is Gen2 and 02 is Gen3 frame.
Thanks

01 frame is different to the 02 but i bet the part numbers are only different due to different valving used.

Yeah

I was thinking that or different Spring with different rate used.
I appreciate your input Marcus.
I was goingto ask about the Radiators as well but, I imagine those are different as the shrouds are not interchangable.
So, I assume if the shrouds won't interchange unlikely the radiators will.

The radiators should interchange. I have 01 250 radiators on my 04 250. The shrouds will not. The mounting holes on the tank are spaced differently where the shrouds attach to it, but they are the same where the shrouds attach on the radiators. I hope that helps.

The rads interchange?

That's odd, because the 00-01 CRs and 02 CR have different part numbers for the radiators and the 04 part number is different than either of the other two. At least that's what the Service Honda webste told me.

Are there any visible differences between the radiators you have?

I believe the difference between the two is the way the lines are routed.the newer models run their cooling lines a bit different, Since I am running an 01 motor in my 04 chassis, I am running the complete 01 radiator setup on my 04 including hoses. I've never compared 01 and 04 radiators side to side. I bought the 04 chassis minus motor and radiators.

There has to be more to it than that because Honda doesn't change part numbers unless the part changes.
