Guys: After much shopping and deliberation, I recently purchased a 2002 RM 125 in very good condition for $1500.00 It has Bill's pipe and silencer, new tires, new sprockets and chain, new top end, recent hinson clutch, excel wheels. Appears to have been meticulously maintained The only problems I can find thus far are: 1: Small crack in right side # panel around bolt hole. 2: Graphics (aftermarket) peeling off. 3: "Flat spot" in the midrange. I have three questions: 1: Whats the best way to keep the new graphics on - especially on the gas tank? 2: More importantly, The powerband seems a bit odd to me. Decent low end, mid is strong, but in upper mid for a couple thousand RPM it is flat and feels like you've rev'ed it as far as she'll go. Then it hits REALLY strong and runs out like a scalded dog. Is that a normal powerband shape for '02? Is the Bill's pipe designed for top end? Finally, any recommendations for best mods on the '02 - (anything from motor to suspension) and any problems you guys might have had with them I should know about? I plan on sending it to Eric when I have the $$ to have overbore/porting. Thanks a lot. Rob Bright
