I recently hit some trails and bent my stock odometer cable and needed to remove the cable from the wheel hub plastic assembly.
If I choose to keep it off for now, can I just remove the plastic assembly on the wheel hub because it clicks and I believe a piece broke on it as well or will this expose too much to the wheel assembly after removing it?
