I'm getting ready to sell my bike and the following gremlins developed..

Bike will not rev.. It will idle and rev when blipped..
It takes allot of kicks to start it when it used to only take 2-3
It makes a poof kind of backfire
looks like raw un-burnt fuel coming out of the powervalve breather.
Plug gets really wet..
bike sounds like it is totally loaded up and when you ride it, spudders all over it's self.. If you goose t and short shift to about third it will run, but will not rev out..

I took the stator cover off and found some corrison on the flywheel and clutch arm.
I drained the trans oil and found about 2/10th of what I put in earlier this season.

I'm going to do a compression check before I say it's a crank seal.
Any one have the minimum and maximum numbers for compression and any advise?
Thanks,
Jonathan

The old rule of thumb I used was anything over a 100psi should run good. Does it take numerous kicks to start? Thats a good sign of a low compression also.

filters clean and plug keeps getting wet... Replace it and the same thing...
I'm doing a compression check later but I need to know the minimum and maximum...

If only 20% of trans oil was left than I think you have a crank seal problem which would result in fouled plugs, alot of blue smoke and real rich running condition.
