2005 Honda CRF50F Problem

Hey guys, wondering if anyone is experienced with these. They have the 3 speed clutchless semi-auto tranny. I just got one for my son, and it SEEMS like its really rough when you upshift or downshift. I have made sure to throttle off before a shift, but once you do it surges very hard. Im worried if i let him hit second it may loop. Is this normal, or does it indicate a problem? thanks for any input :bang:

Was the shift slow or fast it seems when we had ours you had to shift fast with no throttle sometimes not always though. Also I would move this to the pit bike or mini's section.

yeah i guess that would be a better spot. sorry! i dont know how to move a post.

Sorry can't help you there, but maybe you could try and find a mini forum somewhere and ask there.
