I'm confused. I'm sure both forks came apart different. Underneath the shim stack shims, there is a 13mmx2mm spacer, then a 30x2mm backing plate. I'm reasonably sure thats how it was.
The second fork has these two 2mm plates backwards. The 13x2mm plate is under the 30x2mm plate, and underneath is that tiny piston looking thing with the multiple holes in it.
Which way is correct?
usually the shims above the backing plate are like you explain it on the first fork. but underneath the backing plate there must be another washer and the shims for the low speed section (the oil that flows in the center hole flows through "that tiny piston looking thing with the multiple holes in it")
Thanks, I kind of worked it out after awhile and not getting any replys on this. Having one of the forks LS bleed completly blocked of by being assembled wrong would hopefully explain why these forks were so harsh!
