2006 Rm-z250

I have an 06 rm-z250, and it is one of the bikes that were made by Kawasaki. The frame says Kawasaki and the engine block has KX250 on it. I'm wondering if I can't find a part for my bike (engine, exhaust) on the Suzuki end of the spectrum, would the KX250 parts work? If so, what year parts would work?
