2006 rmz250

hey i was just wondering if the 2006 model had a hot start. There's one still on the showroom floor for cheap but it's a couple hours drive away. I only weigh 116pounds so if i dump it on the track I don't wanna be kicking for hours. -hnx

PS - If i get it Iwas thinkin' about putting a Hot Cams cam in it for better top end. If it doesn't have a hot start is there any way i can rob one off a kxf and put it in while i get the cam done?

Any FCR equipped bike has hot start. Thats pretty much all 4t mx bikes.

oh okay cool, my friend told me that the older rmz/kxf's didn't have one. Thanks for the help

you wont have to use the hot start often. they kick over just fine.

Shoot I have an 04 and I never have problems starting it. I only have to use the hot start on warm/humid days.

I know some of the early yamahas had the hot start on the carb rather than a lever on the bars.
