The last time Suzuki’s 250 four-stroke motocross bike received a mechanical change was in 2019. Peak power gains from the 2018 to 2019 model on the Dirt Rider dyno were 2.9 hp and 1.5 pound-feet of torque. This increase in horsepower and torque was noticeable on the track too. In 2022, the RM-Z250 makes the least peak horsepower in the 250F motocross bike segment with 36.8 hp at 12,100 rpm. The yellow machine produces more maximum torque than the Yamaha YZ250F and Honda CRF250R with 18.3 pound-feet of torque at 9,300 rpm.
