My daughter has a DR 125 that we have striped and she uses for an easy trail bike. Don't have alot in it and don't want to put alot into it. But it kills at least three plugs in a days ride. Plug is very black and powder looking, not wet. What can I do??

first thing I would do is clean the air filter, check the float hieght , needle and seat, also look for the exhaust to be plugged up.

when it runs does it smoke? if so a couple of guestimates;

blue when first started up oil getting past the valves
blue when decelerating oil getting past the rings
blue all the time too much oil, clogged vent, any of the above if wear is extreme
light gray too much fuel
dark gray something keeping the air from flowing whether intake or exhaust
the light gray/dark grey guestimates are not as reliable as when the blue smoke happens
also make sure you have the proper plug heat range and jetting for your conditions
