I know I'm going to regret this but I need some ideas from you guys. What the heck do I get my beloved wife for our 6th shining anniversary. Now, some rules, can't be ANYTHING related to our dirt bikes, so ixney on the dirtney. What does the official wife anniversary book say? Come on, I need help. It's time for return favors!:)

Man I’d love to help but I’ve been coined “hopelessly unromantic” by my wife. My brainstorms usually get me in more trouble. :scream: :uh:

After the fact she always gives me ideas that I would have never thought of. I must be doing something right to still be happily for 23 years though. :)

Oddly enough....

#6 is customarily celebrated with................Iron and sweets. Thusly, some wrought iron patio furniture and a box of chocolates will suffice.

Or a W21 x 44 and a snickers, whichever.

You can buy her a pair of ear rings, a braclet or a ring at the local jeweler and then pack a picnic basket and take her to the local park for a day of enticing. Don't forget the wine and the grapes.;) They work great!

The rest is up to you. Have a quick lunch and pamper her with some fresh cut flowers and the jewelry you bought her then she will be overwhelmed with joy.

You may even be able to bring your bike and go for a ride afterwards.

Hot air balloon ride, the one I took included touchdown in a local vineyard of the St. Michelle Winery, complete with picnic basket lunch.

I just got my gf a day at the local spa. Facial massage, body massage, hair stuff, other stuff don't ask me. I paid about $100 for it, she is thrilled to death and it will keep her out of my hair for a whole day. Its the perfect gift!!

A weekend in Napa Valley!

Two of my friends took their SOs there. The first guy came back expecting and the second came back married.

Ochster, the hot air balloon idea sounds cool. How about a ride on a Harley to an orchard or nice restaurant where a bottle of champagne's waiting, along with her favourite meal?

Or do what we do - make sure we do something slightly different each year so we can work out how many years we've been married. Our 6th was a dirtbike ride with friends. Next year we'll have to do something completely different - the last couple have been related to dirtbikes. We don't give gifts, unless one of us really wants something badly & hasn't bought it already.

Enjoy your day whatever you decide to do.

Elk.

Don't know what the official anniversary book says, but, Jeff gave a good suggestion with the Glenn Ivy spa. It is an original hot springs type of mud bath. I gave Mrs. Ol'89r a day there and she loved it.

On the plus side, you will have some free time on your hands while she is at the spa and will be only about 15 min. from Elsinore and about 5 min. from our Corona trails and if you forget to unload your bike the night before,, well,,, you can figure out the rest.:p

JP's suggestion on the Coronado Hotel is great and while you are down there, they have balloon rides at sunset in Del Mar.

If you have a couple days to spend, there is a place in San Luis Obispo called the Apple Farm. The trip up the coast is almost as good as staying at the Apple Farm.

Congrats.

If she's adventurous, how about a sunset glider ride with a nice dinner after at Peohes on Coronado Island?
