yea just loosen the two or three bolts that hold the stator plate to the case and move the notches on the plate to align w/ the one on the case. retarding it will give you more tope-end and more over-rev, while advancing it will give more down low and a bigger hit in the mid. to advance it turn he plate opposite the direction the stator moves and to retard it move the plate w/ the direction at which the flywheel moves.
i really don't get it exact, i just move it around to see how it performs. otherwise i don't know else you could get it exactly 16 degrees to TDC with out a heat gun.
