I have a 87 YZ 250 and was wondering if I could change the seat and gas tank to an 88 or newer to get the longer seat, more modern looking. Eventually I want to change it over to the blue and black colors of the newer bikes. Did the frame change at all between 87 and newer. I've never road bikes before, I've road Quads all my life so this bike will do for now, I just want to make it look a lil newer than what it is.
