What jetting are you running? the main, pilot, needle and needle clip position.

Also how much smoke does your bike produce like when you idle and chop the throttle?

I did a long search on the boards and may have found Dave's old KDX setup:

-Slide CA6 (from the kx250) to lean things out or cut 1mm off the stock slide
-38 pilot
-158-160 main
-1369H needle

Off to get more parts Monday.

42 pilot
162 main
stock needle
cut .5 mm off of stock slide & increased the cut out.
Keep in mind that my bike is running bad at idle to 1/4 throttle and I am not sure what to do next. If I go leaner on the pilot I get a rev up during the time I let off of the throttle. I get the rev up unless I turn the air screw in almost all the way. Even with the 42 pilot. Any suggestions?

I run a 158 main, 38 pilot, cut a mm off slide, and stock needle. The bike still smokes at idle to 1/2 throttle, but it doesn't foul plugs anymore.

Well calling around today for the best prices, seems that Sudco wins there.

Thinking about it since I am running the KX cylinder and gaskets, I should be running the KX 250 for the same year bike carb setup. Since the 91-94s are from the 90-91 KX, I went that way.

So I got a #6 slide, 38 and 52 slow, 158 main (I have 160-180 at home) and a N85C needle or CCH crossed over. Let you know how it all goes when I get it installed.
