Gas kept coming out the drain line whenever the bike was leaned over. The idle also varied when the bike was shook from side to side. I cleaned the fuel valve with no results. I went to adjust the float level and found there is somthing wrong with the Clymer directions. 15-16 mm from the carb gasket flange to the top of the float when the tab just touches the needle valve and the valve is fully closed. The pitcure shows rectangular plastic floats (WM38SS) but my carb has round copper floats and gives a value of 25 mm. Am I missing something? Is there another way to determine what the proper fuel height is?
