95 rm 80 boring

i was considering buying a 95 rm 80 engine. i am told piston is pretty much wore out and it could use a bore job. The crank should have new bearings too. the only things not included are the carb, exhaust, and powervalve.
i am new to enginre rebuilding and i was wondering what this job involves and how much money i can plan to spend ?

Look for a newer or complete RM. 1997 - 2001 are almost identical. On these bikes for between 300-400 you can get the top end and bottom end completely redone by a good shop or up to 200 less if you do alot of the work yourself.
