Dudes wat was this bike like compared to other models of the year. i found a website claiming it produced 51 hp? is that rite? also were would i find magazine reveiws for my RM? RM 250 1997

MC said it was more like 15 hp but I love RM's so I say he just got out run............??????????

Ive heard the 98 was much better? wat were the main differences...could i change my bike to go like the 98?

i had a 96 and now a 99 which i may be selling soon for more of a woods bike, but to me the power was basically the same between the two. its just how you set the power up is whats gonna make the huge difference. 250 have plenty of power and will keep you occupied for a long time. Whether it has 51hp give or take some there fun bikes

I dont know about the 97 but My 98 runs great before that I had an 88 which was one of my alltime favorites! :aj:

yeah well thanx u all...absolutly no useful info but oh well...well my personal opinion is its a great bike, i get weelspin in 5th gear...
