97 yz250 cylinder fit a 96 yz 250

hi, i was wondering if anyone knew if a 97 yz 250 cylinder would fit on to a 96 yz 250. Thanks

i know for a fact that my brothers 96 is the exact same engine as my 95, and although the 93-95 body style is the same, i think for 95 they changed the motor, so if they used the same motor for three years in a row, youre good.
