98 RMX engine making noise

Alright so I was out riding everything seemed normal but when I came to a stop and I was just idling the engine was making like a pulsating knocking noise. If I rev the motor and ride I dont notice it. Can anyone tell me what might be going on?

could be piston slap (worn piston) or your big end rod bearing is going away

tear the cylinder off and check it out berfore you really do some major damage

sound like clutch chatter there is pressure or force on the plates when you rev it up making no noise but at idle the plates are rattling back and forth when its time to put another clutch your going to need a basket also grooves in the basket causing your clutch to move make chatter
