99 rm 125 compression

it dosnt say how much comression is supposed to have. the gauge is holdiong steady at 35 (i highly doubt that right, because it runs) but is there a way to test it w/o a gauge? how many lbs per sq' is there supposed to be.

Only way I've heard w/out a gauge is to check to see if it has enough to run (not your problem obviously) by placing your finger over it and trying to start it. If it has enough comp. to run no matter how hard you push it'll blow your finger off.

I think my 99 RM125 had around 180 to 190#. It was always more than a friend's 01 CR125.
