Well I blew my bottom end today. Started doing some research to get guesstimate ideas of cost for a new crank assembly. Aside from Suzuki OEM I am having a hell of a time finding one! Does anybody know where/if I can possibly find one? I would like to do a HOT RODS kit, but I dont believe they are made! Any ideas? Anyone PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Have you tried Bike Bandit, they list the Hot Rod kit for your bike, for $87.53. Then you have to have a machine shop or bike shop rebuild the crank.

After many hours on the phone, on the net, and driving around talking to different shops it has been determined that 99's are unique in the aspect that the carrier bearing ?housing(s)? Are different from any other year. These years are also prone to killing the main bearings! ( I dont understand why) but, The ONLY options are A.) Buy an OEM Suzuki Crankshaft assy. or B.) Buy the rod kit, and have a shop press the bearing on, Then have it rebuilt. PITA, and its gonna cost me about 300 dollars, with me doing all the labor. :bang:
