The next event in late January near Jawbone Canyon (just north of Mojave) is way less of a drive for you than the UEA enduro (let alone it's a lot of $). On Saturday afternoons they have a kid's/***/gal's loops & classes - perfect for beginners & well tailored for various skill levels. Sundays are for those of greater skills - AMA rules (& of similar caliber/format) but card/membership is not required. Jart-like charts are available. PM me for more deatails. I'd be happy to have your family as my guest, but have injured myself and will be taking at least a few off - perhaps we'll man the checks but certaily not enter nor be there the entire time. As other DRNers would certainly be in attendance, perhaps they can assist - give them a few days to find/see this post, or just come out to the event Jan. 26/27th.
