I had the wires safely covered in plastic and the key switch hooked up with the battery arrangement. The engine starts fine and produces a charge to the battery, but theres no power to any of the lights. The fuse is good and I have a new spare key switch. The wiring system is strange. There are many different colored power wires and these block connectors that aren't identified for function on the electrical schematic in the owners manual.
