air filters?

what is the bets way to clean your filter? the only thing i find that cleans them is gas, but your not supposed to use that, what else works?

Before I went to No-Toil I cleaned many of them with Kerosene

Kerosene works great and doesn't hurt the filter.
Buy the "desented" stuff in the camping section of Walmart.
