Went to the Amarillo Indoor motocross last week with my boy. The track was tight and looked a lot easier than a supercross style track. The racing was fast and tight and we were treated to some great racing, and some spectacular crashes. Fortunately no rider was injured and it looks like they all had a great time. The mini racers and quads were as always a highlight of the evening, and one little guy in the pro 50cc class was an absolute ripper, he rode like the wind and even tried to clear the double on the finish line, he made it, broke his chain, made it half way up the triple, and tumbled all the way back down. Like most little guys he got right back up and was ready to race, his bike was not !

Robbie Reynard was there and rode both the 125 and 250 pro class, and really showed his class, winning both races, even in the small arena these pros were getting BIG air and really put on a great show.

On Saturday while out at the Canadian river, I managed to bump into the guy who had one the 'old guys' race on his old WR250 enduro bike, said he had a lot of fun.

All in all, a great event, I only wish we had more motocross and super/arena cross down this way.

They built an indoor track at the new convention centre. This was part of the tri-state fair. Will probably have to wait till next year to see the same again :(
