Potential locations for an off-highway vehicle (OHV) trail on either the Angelina or Sabine National Forest will be presented at a public meeting on Tuesday, July 20 in Hemphill, Texas.
The meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the J.R. Huffman Library, 375 Sabine St., Hemphill.
We did present options to a fair size (60 folks or so) group and we have met once to go over comments received. The next meeting is set for late January although no actual date has surfaced.
The Forest Service received a grant of 700K from RTP monies here in Texas to build this system once the location is finalized.
