Hello all, Dan from IL, I ride an 03 YZ250F, and I am a true Newbie. I have been riding the street for about 12 years, but got my first dirt bike late last year, a 97 KX250. I little to much to learn on, so this year I got a YZ250F. This is much better. Found an MX track in Byron IL, and haven't looked back. See ya around.

Welcome to DRN Dan!

I'm a street and dirt rider as well. They complement each other very well. The difference is that you can ride the dirt bike to, or close to your limits. Do that on a street bike and you’ll find yourself in jail or in the hospital.
