another wheelie thread...

i can pull up in a wheelie in 1st or 2nd gear without using my clutch, but when it tops out i cant seem to get it to shift into a higher gear. when i try pulling it up in 3rd gear when im on grass and use the clutch, the tire skids out, and when i dont use the clutch it doesnt go up. my friends tell me you have to have it the right speeds and rpms to get it to shift without using the clutch, and ive een trying for a few weeks and still cannot make it happen.

when ur shiftin into 3rd,just let the clutch out slower,or give less throttle...

Check out ( www.256north.com ). They are a stunt team located here in Huntsville Alabama. After I posted here, I started looking on their forums and there is some very good information there. They also have some really good videos of their riding. Most of their videos are of fiddy's and sport bikes, but some of the guys have some trail bikes that they put street tires on and those are in a couple videos as well. Good luck!
