If you are just going to publish to the web, 15fps will be fine, but if you want to produce video to watch on your TV screen, the standard is closer to 30fps (29.95, if I remember correctly). I see that it says you can hook up to your TV, but I don't think the picture quality will be real good.

Thanks for the info. Does anybody make a digital helmet cam with 30fps? I like the idea of not having to carry a camcorder.

I got mine from bulletcam.com, but I had to buy a new camcorder, and it must be carried. I'm sure that the rest here can recommend others.

Samsung makes a REALLY small camcorder that comes with a remote mount lens, but the reviews are mixed on quality. Also, any cam with a built-in microphone will be a problem (wind noise, etc). The only way, other than a satelite connection is to carry a camcorder in a fanny pack.

Between 100-125 on evilbay. I bought the 1GB memory card. The 32MB card was only good for 3-4 minutes. I converted from .ASF to .wmv format to get the size down to post.

Thanks for the clip, that was exactly what I was wanting to see. What resolution and fps was that clip? Also, how are you mounting the camera?
