Hey like the title says which would be better i have been running Mercury Quicksilver PWC 2-stroke oil (API-TC rated) in my Kawasaki JETSKI and in my KDX and YZ for a little bit now should i only use TC-W3 in my dirtbikes because API-TC is a Higher grade oil i know if you run TC-w3 oil in a SEADOO you will burn up the engine (thats why i think its higher grade) so what should i do? thanks

TC-W3 is an outboard motor oil. I would not run it in MY dirt bike.
Compared to motorcycles (even water-cooled), outboards run VERY cool.

?? my KDX book recommends using TCW3?? i was talking about the API-TC if i should use it or not. But it doesn't really matter because i bought some of that Maxima Synthetic stuff and i will just have to have two 5 Gallon cans one for ski and one for bike.

Well i figured out the different TC-W3 is Ash-less oil and API-TC is a Low ash oil because how the seadoo's power valve system work it needs a oil containing a Low amount of Ash and API-TC is made for High TEMP engines. I read if you run API-TC oil in a motor that calls for TC-W, TC-WII, TC-W3 it will have Ash build and fail plugs easier.

I'm sorry, I thought this was one of your questions:

My KDX200 owner's manual recommends:
a) Kawasaki 2-stroke racing oil
b) Shell advance Racing X
c) Castrol A747

(Page 9 in the manual, P/N 99987-1357.)

The KDX200 Service Manual, P/N 99924-1181-10, does not make a recommendation for premix oil that I can find. ...this manual is for 1995(H1)-2006 (H6F)models...

Personally, I use a).

It's pretty fool proof to use oil distributed by Kawasaki, recommended for your bike. If in doubt go to the dealer and get the Kawi oil. I guarantee it won't let you down if you follow the directions.

Mine says use Kawasaki 2-stroke racing oil or TC-W3 Certified oil.
