Are '00-'04 KX65/RM65's all the same?

I'm curious if all kx65's from 2000-2004 are the same. I know that the plastic and colors may be different, but I want to know if the parts interchange. I'm working on a 2001 kx65 for a buddy and it needs some parts. I've found some parts on e-bay that I need, but they are from 2002 and some from 2003. I'm curious about top end parts, front forks, triple clamps, rear shock, frame, fuel tank, etc. If anyone can answer my question, I would really appreciate it.

I believe the 03-05's are the same, we've raced an 03 kx65 for 3 years and it's bomb-proof. I think there were a few engine/crank and frame strength issues with the older ones.

The only change was in the firs tyear model. People were breaking frames on the first model that was released...possibly the 2000 model.

After that, it was fixed.

the suspension on the 2000 was shorter than the 2001 and then again 2002. They changed the linkage length. Shock valving. Motorwise nothing really changed.
