Asterisk Braces and Pants

I just replaced my CTIs with Asterisks, and overall I like the Asterisks better.
One problem with both is they rapidly tear a hole in every pair of pants I have worn, on the inside of the knee and then tear the bike's shroud graphics.
Anyone else have this problem and found a solution?

John, I think everyone experiences the worn stuff. I find the Fox 360 pants protect as good as any. Folding the sock down over the top may help some.
