Everyone I've asked has said Asterisk knee braces are the best you can get. What makes them better than the cheaper alternatives? EVS braces are about half the price. What are the differences? I've just been using knee and shin guards for the track so far, but I really don't want to blow out a knee. I'm also poor and don't want to come off the extra $200 unless it's justified. Any info about asterisk vs. other braces would be appreciated.
