Please help ! I've just had the Athena yz144 cylinder kit on my 06 YZ125, I would appreciate any advice on your expereince of jetting for these 144 kits, I'm from England so I know it may be slightly different.

I don't think there are many of these 144 kits over here, I got this kit from the States.

I have fitted the std pilot jet a 180 main jet & moved the std needle clip up 1, I'm going to run the bike in tomorow night, any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

All I had to do on my Eric Gorr RM144 was lower the needle clip one notch.

Your results may vary. . .

I have the athena kit on my 05 yz125, i live in alaska so its kind of cold. I dropped the clip one position and went to a 430 main jet, thats from the stock 410, and thats for like 40 degrees. but now since the weather is warmed up to about 60 degrees I will go to a 420 main. GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the help, I will try a smaller main after running it in, that sounds amazing running it as lean as that, I had the 05 YZ125, & like many others here in england I had detonation problems, I was riding a sand track, it wrecked the cylinder I was running my 06 with the std barrel on a 450 main jet, with no problem it still reved out clean, with no bogging at all. Thanks again.
