As the 30+ thread was covering more Atkin's related discussion, though I'd start a new thread with some of my favorite low carb food discoveries. Post up anything else you've discovered:
.Pure Protein and Protein Plus bars, cheap at Trader Joes
.Macadamia nuts, also good deal at Trader Joes
.Carbolite yogurt, 1 carb/oz and reasonably tasty. Great with a little peanut butter
.Ice botanical drinks. Taste good, no carbs, find 'em at Costco
.Crystal geyser carbonated water, with "essence" of flavors
.And all the fresh poultry, cheese, spinach etc that I can store.
.Pork rinds, if you can handle the smell
.microwave bacon
.Packaged egg whites, also at Costco
While I maintain the low carb throughout the week, when it comes to riding time, I boost the carbs up with some granola, more fruit, balance bars, etc. Intense exercise requires more carbs, for me at least.
